Looking at life in a diffrent way....

Have you ever thought to yourself wow I have it really bad, well don't loose hope! I thought about this the day before I had to have a tooth removed... I started to cry and feel really sorry for myself. But then I got a new perspective on things, when you feel down about something try to make something good come out of that! As long as you have a lighted path there is now way that you get lost or disconnected from yourself! The more i thought about this the more I started to relize that I wasn't feeling sorry for myself I was setting myslef up for failure and putting myslef down when I didn't need to! Upon thinking about this, I started to think about the positive and exciting things in life, the things left to come! After thinking about that for a while I started to feel more happier, and I lifted my spirit as well! There is never a dull or boring moment in my life! I love who I am and wouldn't change that for anything! Just think about the positives.

Classic Fourth of July Celebration.....

We all think of a classic fourth of July celebration as a date that brings us closer together and celebrates our independence as a nation..... or as a date where we can spend time with close reletives and close family and friends!!! But as a nation I'm pretty sure why we celebrate the Fourth Of July.... In the previous years we have decided to go down and visit family in Washington D.C......But we decided to mix things up and stay here to spend time with my family personally.... I'm so glad that we did because we had a blast we lit sparkelers and whatched a fireworks display in the sky that had just set.... it was a beautiful piece of scenery!!!! :) :) :) :) I had baked this YUMMY desert for my family a fudge marble pound cake( here is the recipe so that anybody that is reading this can bake it for thier family) http://duncanhines.com/recipes/cakes/dh/fudge-marble-pound-cake ....... It was delicious!!! I can gurantee a must for making this as a delectible treat!!! :) :) :) :) Fourth of July has a magical effect on us all not just with fireworks but with family and friends!!! I hope that everody has a wonderful Fourth Of July... :) :) :) :)

My Best Friend.....

Horses are people's best friends, they are they for you when you need them and they never put you down or critique the way you do things!! A horse can be your best friend by doing simple things such as just loving on him and let him know how much you appreciate them.. They will appreciate it more than you think! My horse Ben is a 10 year old palimino quarter horse he is the sweetest horse in the world he can act a little full of himself sometimes but I understand him and he understands me, to me that is all that matters!! He was rolling one day out in the field and got his left hock stuck in a wire fence, the gentlmen that had him loved him so much. Hehad used him as a cutting horse and roping horse but due to his injury he no longer could do that.... He was so busy with his other horses that Ben was put in a field where we could come out and look at him.... Anyways the vet came out and was going to put him down but the vet said that he was too good of a horse to put down and that he could have such a good life ahead of him, the gentlement took good care of his wound. So the lady that owned the barn where board our other two horses knew this lady that taught lesson, the lady told her that she had a horse. The lady told us and we went staight over to go and look at him... At first we weren't too sure about him but we knew from the start that he was a dream!! It turns out when I first looked at him i wasn't that really in to him but found out later he didn't have a chance.... Now the tendon injury has fully healed and looks better than ever... He can go over poles and I ride him mostly every other week, but not too much... He is my friend for life and always will be... Even though he had a injury and I wanted a horse that i didn't have to train... I decided too face the diffrent and let him come into my life to shine some brightness in it... Getting him was about the best thing that ever happened to me.... He is such a good compainion for my other horses and for me as well... When you get your first horse just consider that you may not like this horse at first but in the long run he may just turn out to be your best friend!!!! :) :) Horses are magnificent animals that may just surprise you at every corner!! They really never let you know what they are thinking, and usually just keep it all bottled up inside... But for some people like me I know what a horse is feeling after all he is my Best Friend....!!!! When you are like me and love horses and just want to be with one and ride it... Ben taught me a lesson about mostly everything..... He may be a horse but as his owner it is my job to be one step ahead of him!! :) :) :)

Magical Fairy Houses......

Every little girl in her spare time thinks of doing something that might make her wish come true! Fairy houses are just a great thing to do. Fairy houses are magical and every little second that you build one brings a fairy one step closer!!! Every clover will stop to look inside! Everybody has thier own magical way of making one weather it is making it out of mother nature's own nature objects or making it out of ribbin and yarn, it is still a fairy house that you may just get lucky with! Good luck on making yours!!!!

Nature in its everlasting...

Have you ever taken a walk when it has just rained outside, and you can smell the dew on the leaves of the grass and flowers! I love that smell, its one of my favorites! Or have looked up in the sky and thought God made all of that, well Nature is a fragile lifecycle if we do something it could mess up everything. We need to at least do something that is going to make a diffrence.... Wether it's in our lives or our next generation... It all matters!! Every fragile little bug from every leaf of grass, it's all here, but only for a short time! We can make thoose wonders stay around forever!! Might it be in China, from California. Every minute and second count, so make each step one closer to helping mother nature!! This way the beauties will be around for a life's century!! Do your part!!!

The Diving Horse...

I know right it sounds really weird about a horse diving!!! But during the 1970's this craze became the most popular thing at that time period!! A horse would dive 40-60 feet into water, and then a diver would mount the horse, and then dive straight into the water!!! Here is the link to whatch the amazing video....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r8vIjuIeQpM&feature=related.... this the most amazing video ever.....This is a definitly must whatch video.... Enjoy!!! :) :) :) :)

Gettysburg Festival.....Experience all the Festivites, Culture and Cuisine of Gettysburg...

This year Gettysburg hosted it's first ever Edible Art Tour. (The Festival has several activities running June 10-19 2011.) The fun part about this particular event is that you get to go to different art galleries, look inside at the art and also enjoy the different restaurants showcasing their creations there. Me, my mom and sister went to The Dale Gallon Historical Art Gallery and hosted there, and represented the Fairfield Inn. Also included in the tour is the Brafferton Inn, Civil War Fine Art, Gallon Historical Art (which will be giving away coupons to the Fairfield Inn, which you can come in and use when you eat dinner and the coupons give you 15% off of your meal), Lincoln Into Art Gallery, and last but not least is the Lord Nelson's Gallery!! All of these events are just beautiful! They also have shuttles which drive you to the stops on the tour or if you wish, you can drive your car to Gettysburg and ride around Gettysburg at your convience, avoiding all of the crowds!!! All of these activities are so much fun, and they give you a chance to experience history and have delectable food ,while looking at the glorious paintings!! I hope that anybody that reads this considers coming to the Festival. It is fun and entertaining! Everybody is so friendly and you certainly will want to come! There will be blugrass bands and Bass bands- all of them playing exceptional music!! Come and have some fun you don't want to miss out!!! :) :) :) :)

Figuring out your puzzle or so called horse......Designed for you horse in mind....

Can you picture yourself on a kool summer breeze riding on the back of your horse at the beach, well before you think of that think about working with your horse! I was riding my horse, Ben and found out that i needed to work with him instead of riding him. I was so glad too.He is a really sweet guy but when i threw his feed bucket down for him to eat it he totally freaked out, just as i thought that he wouldn't he spooked, but i blamed myself for not working with him. I mean he can't do that by himself! So it was up to me as the owner to look out for his interest in mind! I have ridden him before and thought that he was fine, but when that little experience happened I got a new perspective on things! Here are a few ways to help with that!
-Porcipine game
-Driving game
-Circiling game
- Yo-Yo game
- Muscle relaxation(to help calm thoose tense muscles)
-love your horse for who he is-

Don't be fooled by your horses, strong behavior and confident that you know him! Just trust that you know what is best for him!! Just as you think that you know your horse, we prove ourselves wrong. Do good by your horse, and think of him first! :) :) :) You'll be happy that you did! :) :) :)

Stop Horse Slaughtering......

This cruel sport and lack responsiblity puts many horses at risk.Which happens at Canada, Mexico, France, Paris, and many other countries. If they are not sold at auction then they end up at the meatmarkets, and then shipped to slaughter. On the long trip to slaughter they don't get treated like horses should get treated, they get treated like dirt. They just stick them in there, and on the long ride there many of them die, becuase of lack of air as many as 20 get loaded into a livestock trailer. Many of them don't even make it and die on the way there, they suffacate! They don't give them food and water, and let them starve to death. No animal deserves that. Nobody cares about them, and handle things in a poorly manner. They deserve a right, to be heard. Thosands of horses, go through this cruel punishments as of nothing, go through this speachless act of violence!!! God, created horses as pleasure not to end up on your dinner plate. No human being should kill inoccent animals everyday! Many people all over the world have endlessley tried to stop this, but to no evail. Join the cause until the slaughtering stops!!! I will not rest until the I see the day, that animals get treated as equals. I myself personally have a horse, that my mom's friend rescued, or else she proabably would not have been here with us! I know what it is like to go through the pain of whatching other horses being taken away to slaughter. The actions have changed the way that i have viewed my life. I don't like seeing other horses suffering from lack of a heart from the others. When you are reading this think about the horses just like Dancer that get taken away everyday!!! This on going revolution has gone on long enough. I will not stand for it!!!

New boy in town....

Hello everybody, You all know my horse Dancer well.... we were inspired to get another palimino quarter horse gelding.. His name is Ben, and he was injured in June or sometime around that period. Anyways, it was a tinsel fence and it wrapped around his leg and severed one of his tendons, not both tendons, just the one!!! He is a very good boy, and we love him and are excited to welcome him into his new family!!! Ben's leg has healed and the guy that had him before really loved him and was devastated when all of that happe. They were going to put him down, but the vet came out and said that he was just too good of a horse, to put down, he could still be companion horse, or something else, he just needed to relax and they needed to clean it and take really good care of it, they did a wonderful job with taking care of Ben, he was previouly a cutting horse or roping horse!! He was a good boy!! Anyways, we bought him and he as been a great horse, we have been washing the cut everyday, and putting vetricyin on it, and making sure that it was wrapped when we ride him!!! But that won't be for a while. He gets turned out in a big grassy padock, with lots of grass, water, and hay!! We love him, and always will!! I will post some pics of his leg and his new family, and the horses that make it up too!!!

This is Hilarious!!!!!!

One of the many expressions of horses, well theese two have definitly got it down, Meet Romeo and Juliet, two very funny horse that stick out above ordinary! They can laugh, stick out there tounges, smile, and eat cake with a fork! During the long days Romeo paints on the many canvases with a brush in his mouth and has appeared in magizines all across the world. One famous horse if you tell me! Juliet joined Romeo as one of his many first students, while treating her as his own, but this horse came with a unique painting style! Romeo and Juliet paint pictures that hang in people's home worldwide! Juliet and Romeo are both Pasi Fino horses, age 12 and 6, in a way!! You can visit thier website today!! paintinghorse.com.

The Kings Speech.....

This weekend me and my family went go and whatch the Kings Speech. I have to say i think that this movie gets put under my favorite movie listings!!! Having the rating that it does, I would say that if you go and see it with a responsible adult, then you should have absolutly no problems what so ever!!! Anyways the Movie, is very suspensing, yet brings that emotion of inspiration as well. Colin Firth is a very good actor, he brings that emotion to the stage with him and plays an incredible role, in this academy award winning movie!!! My 10 year old sister went to go and whatch it and see didn't want to go and see it at first, but as she understood what the movie meant, she got into the mood and feelings of this stunning movie!!! I would go and see it plenty of more times, and give it a thumbs up!!!

The Zones.....

For thoose of you that don't know a lot about horses, there are 4 zones on a horse! Zone 1 is the face and you should never touch that area. Zone 2 is the front legs and the withers. Zone 3 is the back legs and the behind. Finally Zone 4 is the tail. When working with your hose, you want to pay attention to the zones. You work you from zone 2 you skip zone 1 which is the face area. Anyways you work your way through zones. You start at zone 2 and then work you way down the horses body, zones 1,2,3, and 4. Are the main zones you want to pay attention to when working with your horse. Try this with the porcipine game, the driving game, the circling game, the yo-yo game, the sidestep game, and many more. Always keep in mind that with a green horse you need to mix things up!!! You can whatch videos at parrelli and they show you what each game is called and the purpose that game has for you and your horse!!! Enjoy!!! :) :) Always remember to have fun!!!

Inky Kitty.........

Inky is my 8 year old cat,Pitch black with the slitted eyes, We adopted another one!!!!!! I fell in love with her the minute my family and i saw her, So she became ours!!! Anyways, she had 3 other siblings along with her, but we could only handle one :), We named her inky becuase she is as black as ink, and shes my little girl, She is very spolied i will admit for a housecat, but what can i say i love her. She runs like a dog, and can meow for so long she could probably sing the national anthem.:) She gets fed twice a day, and i put catnip into her food, and she flips out after a couple hours, she'll fly into the air, its hilarious. (I should post her on YouTube). Anyways,Inky is never shy and will climb up on anybody. She's a couch potato. She was really skinny at first when i got her, and now she is right where she needs to be with her weight. So im glad that im doing a good job, and Yes, my other cats do get along with her, and she is kept in the cat room, i call it.. Where all the animals stay... She is my Inky Kitty, I love her!!!!!!!

The Jacob Kime Farm Project.....

This picture was taken in the summer the house is 10xs worse, than in the picture)

Hello everybody, recently i have decided to start a project on a local Civil War Hospital built in 1863, The Jacob Kime Farm. It was currently for sale, but they took it off the market becuase it had conditions that was unlivible. There are no stairs leading up to the 2nd floor and the floor is getting eaten away, and it has 200 acres to it. I really want to protect it, and restore it to its original condition as a National Living History Musuem. I am researching on how to go about and do all that along with my mom and my teahcers at my school have even offered to help, with it. I am writing letters and trying to do everything i can, to save this wonderful building. I am also trying to raise a charity to be able to restore it to its original conditon. I'll post more on this....and let everybody know how this all will turn out!!!!
